living bamboo

Living Bamboo is located in Japan. Comprising a stratovolcanic archipelago. It belongs to the temperate zone with four distinct seasons, but its climate varies from cool temperate in the north to subtropical in the south. The climate is also affected by the seasonal winds that blow from the continent to the ocean in winters and vice versa in summers.

The design relatively features in a environmentally sustainable style. The 290 square feet space is used as much as possible starting from a living/dining area, kitchen, bedroom with study and walk-in cupboard with bath. It is Built entirely of bamboo which is nature friendly, grows quickly and can be easily sustained with a minimal CO2 footprint and the design plan implies Green roof also known as living roof refers to the growing trend of environmentalism. Green roof above the living bamboo helps in absorbing rainwater, providing insulation, creating a habitat for wildlife, and helping to lower urban air temperatures and combat the heat effect.

Never before I had experienced such a rush of emotion at the sight of an architectural work in designing the concept and function of shopping, pleasure and communication, to encourage the meshing of consumption and culture for the Italian fashion brand PRADA which is spread across 6000 sq ft in Mumbai and its unquestionable quality, which is applied to every stage of its process, from design to the selection of materials.
